SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – In 19 years with the Utah Jazz, Hall of Famer John Stockton made many memorable shots.

Stockton was the one who made the biggest shot in Utah Jazz history when he drilled the game-winning three-pointer in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals in Houston. That shot sent the Jazz to the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history.

5. 1999: Stockton Ices The Kings

The Jazz were facing elimination in the first round of the 1999 NBA Playoffs. Stockton curled around a screen at the top of the arc when he drilled a deep two-pointer to beat the Sacramento Kings and stay alive in the series. The Jazz won Game 4, 90-89 and tied the series at 2 going back to Salt Lake City in a deciding Game 5 where the Jazz beat the Kings to advance to the second round. Stockton finished with 12 points and 8 assists in the Game 4 victory.

4. 1995: Stockton Stuns Cavs With 3.6 Seconds Left

Utah was trailing by one point with 3.6 seconds remaining on the clock, John Stockton made a three-pointer to give the Jazz an 89-87 win on the road despite losing a six-point lead in the final minute. Stockton had 15 points and 8 assists in the win.

3. 1996: Stockton Leaps And Leans To An OT Win In San Antonio

Late in overtime in San Antonio, John Stockton pump faked Vinny Del Negro and leaned past him to drill the game-winning shot during the 1995-96 season. Stockton dropped 18 points and 16 assists in Utah’s 114-111 win. Despite the Spurs winning the regular season series 3-1, Utah went on to beat San Antonio in six games in the second round of the Playoffs.

2. 1996: Stockton Extinguishes Heat In Under Two Seconds

With two seconds left, Stockton received an inbounds pass and quickly turned and drilled the shot to give the Jazz a 94-92 win over the Miami Heat at home. Stockton finished with 27 points and 5 assists.

1. 1989: Stockton Caps Off Rally, Sends The Bulls Home

After trailing the Bulls by seven points late, Stockton gave the Jazz the win when he received the ball in the backcourt and quickly weaved in and out of traffic before firing the leaning two-point shot. The Jazz beat the Bulls 108-107. Stockton recorded 22 points and 18 assists.
