SALT LAKE CITY – Green Canyon knocked off crosstown rival Sky View 36-32 in a back-and-forth thriller, handing the Bobcats their first loss of the season. The win avenged a Sky View victory over the Wolves in late September.

Green Canyon jumped out to a 12-0 lead before Sky View scored 22 straight in the second quarter. The Wolves added a touchdown late in the half to make it 22-19 Bobcats at halftime.

Dewey Egan opened the second half with a 95-yard touchdown on the opening kickoff. Sky View answered with a Dean Phillips rushing score.

After trading field goals, Green Canyon’s Payton Wilson gave his team the 36-32 lead with 1:22 to play when he scored from one yard out.

Wilson threw three touchdowns to go with his game-winning ground score for the Wolves. Dewey Egan caught a pair of touchdowns and Cache Cragun secured the other.
