Elijah Harkless Named 2024-25 G League Most Improved Player

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Jazz two-way guard Elijah Harkless was named the G League Most Improved Player.
The guard signed with the Jazz in January amid a breakout season with the San Diego Clippers and continued his stretch with the Salt Lake City Stars.

Elijah Harkless Wins G League Most Improved Player Award
Harkless, 25, is the first Stars player to win the award after averaging 26.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.4 assists across 19 appearances in the G League.
The guard also shot a blazing 44 percent from the floor and 42 percent from three.

Harkless has also made 10 appearances with the Jazz main roster this season, averaging 3.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 13.8 minutes per night.
The guard helped lead the Salt Lake City Stars to the G League playoffs, earning a first-round victory over the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
Harkless was unable to play in the playoffs after suffering a groin strain on March 24.

The guard played for Cal State Northridge, Oklahoma, and UNLV during his five-year college career before going undrafted in 2023.
