Donovan Mitchell New Signature Shoes Help Raise $25,000 For ALL IN Challenge

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Donovan Mitchell’s ALL IN Challenge raised $25,000 for charity. The Utah Jazz guard’s auction closed on Saturday with the winning bid. The final winner was chosen after 16 bids during the two-week auction.

The ALL IN Challenge offers fans an opportunity to bid on unique experiences with athletes and celebrities. Proceeds raised in the auctions go to help provide food for needy communities and those hit by the coronavirus pandemic.

Included in the bid were courtside seats to an upcoming Jazz game, a game-worn jersey and shoes, and easy access to Mitchell’s new signature shoes. The Jazz star posted a video on Instagram to discuss the treasure trove of gifts.

“I’ve accepted the #ALLINCHALLENGE.” Mitchell tweeted, “Let’s come together to help provide meals to those in need during this difficult time.”

However, Mitchell isn’t the only Jazz player to take the challenge.

Mike Conley opened his auction last week offering a golfing opportunity with first class-round trip tickets to Ohio. Conley’s opening bid started at $2,500 and has climbed to $4,400.

Conley and Mitchell won’t be the only Jazz guards taking the ALL IN Challenge. Teammate Jordan Clarkson accepted the challenge last week. Clarkson was nominated by former NBA big man Channing Frye.

Other ALL IN Challenge Participants

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady raised $800,000 with his ALL IN Challenge. The future Hall of Famer auctioned his first game-worn Buccanneers uniform to the winner. Additionally, the highest bidder will attend Tampa’s first game with three friends. Furthermore, the winner can choose either a private workout or dinner with the former pro bowler.

Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant is offering his NCAA college player of the year award at auction. In addition to the trophy, two fans will get courtside seats to a Nets home game. To top it off, Durant will drive the two winners to the game then accompany them to dinner after. The winning bid includes airfare and hotel stay. The highest bid currently sits at $80,000.
