Bundesliga Returns This Weekend, Here Is How You Can Watch

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – One of Europe’s top tier soccer leagues is returning, it will mark the first live soccer since the sporting world shut down following the positive coronavirus tests of Utah Jazz’s marquee men Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell on March 12.
The Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 season will resume from May 16th. In both leagues, the season will continue with the 26th matchday. The other matchdays will follow in the order originally scheduled.

The Bundesliga is a hotly contested race, with giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund atop the standings. Just four points separate Munich and Dortmund with nine matches remaining in the 2019-20 season.
Play will resume on Saturday morning with the weekend’s most intriguing game between FC Schalke 04 and Borussia Dortmund. Both clubs are separated by just 16 miles, the derby is fiercely contested. The two clubs will be fighting to secure the Revierderby, a tradition that was first introduced in 1925.

Bayern Munich, however, will be tasked with playing Union Berlin, Damir Kreilach’s former club, who have impressed many during their maiden voyage back in Germany’s top-flight division and currently sit in 11th on the standings.
Furthermore, the Bundesliga is filled with a plethora of young American talent that includes the likes of Leipzig’s Tyler Adams, Schalke’s Weston McKennie, Wolfsburg’s John Brooks, Dortmund’s Giovanni Reyna, Werder Bremen’s Josh Sargent and Düsseldorf’s Zack Steffen, among others.
