SALT LAKE CITY – With only 14 games left in the Utah Hockey Club’s inaugural campaign, Smith Entertainment Group is offering Utah HC+ for only a dollar for the rest of the season.

Get Utah Hockey Club Plus for just $1

From now until March 31, 2025, fans can subscribe to Utah HC+ to view the remaining 14 regular season games for $1.

In addition to live games, the $1 subscription includes access to video-on-demand, game replays, game-specific alternative broadcasts, and other behind-the-scenes content.

Those who sign up for the subscription will have access through May 14, which would include the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs if the team qualifies.

Currently, Utah (71) is just four points out from securing a wild card spot in the Western Conference behind the Vancouver Canucks (75), St. Louis Blues (75) and Calgary Flames (73).

The offer is open to fans across Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Wyoming, and parts of Nevada.

The $1 Utah HC+ subscription offer can be accessed by visiting www.segplus.com.

Utah Hockey Club continues to work on naming process

According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Uyte LLC (the same organization that originally filed for all the Utah Hockey Club names) has applied for and been granted an extension for the Utah Mammoth nickname as well a Utah Hockey Club name.

As of February 4, 2025, an application extension was granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office for Utah Mammoth

What’s significant about the extension for Mammoth, is that only a blank Utah Hockey Club name has received the same extension. Meanwhile, Outlaws will not require an extension until April.

While the Utah Hockey Club would not comment on the patent extension, President of Hockey Operations Chris Armstrong recently shared that the club is still in the process of finalizing their new name.

“We continue to work through our naming process and remain on track to announce the team name ahead of the 2025-26 season,” Armstrong said.

“Every day we get closer but not there yet.”
