SALT LAKE CITY – Following three unanswered scores from Nashville, Dylan Guenther gave the Utah Hockey Club exactly what it needed in the third period.
Celebrating his 22nd birthday, Guenther cleaned up from close range to tie the score at 3-3.
Always, always, always crash the net.
Also, Guenther should never shed the bubble. Even when he’s fully healed.
Keep it man. Bubble boy aura is unmatched. https://t.co/10mflxuDWW

The score moved Guenther up to 27 goals and 57 total points in the season.
He has been fantastic all year long. However, since breaking his nose and sporting the bubble mask, Guenther’s level of play has maybe increased.
In five games this month, he has six points, which includes a huge three-point game against Seattle on Tuesday.

Back to the home closer, both Utah and Nashville’s defenses held strong over the next stretch.
With ten minutes left in regulation, the score remained knotted at 3-3.
Utah plays its last home game of the season tonight with the Nashville Predators in town.
Going into the final game in Utah this year, the Hockey Club holds a 36-30-12 record, an 18-15-7 record at home, and the 11th seed in the Western Conference. The Predators are 28-42-8 overall and sit down at 14th in the conference.
Utah is 3-1 on its current homestand and has six wins in its last 10 games. Meanwhile, Nashville won its last game against New York but lost eight of its last 10 prior to that.
This is the second of three matchups between the Hockey Club and the Predators this season. In the first game, Nashville wiped Utah, 4-0, on their home ice.
