College Basketball Analyst Lists Utes Timmy Allen Among Top Sophomores In Nation

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – University of Utah men’s basketball sophomore forward Timmy Allen received some high praise from a national college basketball analyst for his performance to this point in the season.

NCAA.com college basketball analyst Andy Katz listed the top-10 sophomores this season on his “March Madness 365” podcast.

“Timmy Allen had a monster game against Kentucky in Las Vegas,” Katz said on his podcast. “The Utes have been a little up and down, they are young. But, the bottom line is that Timmy Allen allowed Utah to be in the conversation in the Pac-12 and for a possible NCAA Tournament berth.”

Allen leads the Pac-12 in scoring with a 19.8 points per game average. He is also recording 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, while shooting 47 percent from the field and 75 percent from the free throw line.
