SALT LAKE CITY – Expected Utah State starting QB Bryson Barnes can’t wait to pull the curtain back on a new look Aggie offense in 2025. Despite welcoming back one starter from 2024 and only ten players from last season’s four-win team, Barnes believes his unit has plenty of talent.
Barnes and Aggie defensive tackle Gabriel Iniguez Jr. joined Hans & Scotty G. on KSL Sports Zone on Wednesday, July 16.
The spring schedule was behind closed doors, leaving many wondering what the offense will look like under first-year offensive coordinator Kevin McGiven. Barnes had a simple, two-word answer for what fans can expect: “We’re explosive.”

“That is one thing that will be done, is we’re going to be an explosive offense,” Barnes continued. “Similar to what we were last year, just slinging the ball around the yard. We’ve got playmakers from all the way to the right, all the way to the left, in the backfield, up front. It’s gonna be a fun year. I’m really excited about it.”
