SALT LAKE CITY, Utah β Following a big weekend of local college football in Week 7, a pair of the Beehive State’s FBS programs are on the road in Week 8 while another is resting up on a bye.
The No. 15 ranked Utah Utes won’t be playing this week after earning a massive win over the previously undefeated USC Trojans. Utah will rest up on a bye week before traveling to Washington State in Week 9.
The BYU Cougars fell from the rankings after a loss to Notre Dame and followed up that result with a defeat to the Arkansas Razorbacks. BYU will look to rebound from back-to-back losses away from Provo as the Cougars will be at Liberty. The Flames have only fallen once this season.
Utah State eyes a third consecutive victory after snapping a four-game losing streak a couple of weeks ago. The Aggies are on the road to face a conference foe in the Wyoming Cowboys. The Cowboys have a winning record this season, but are below .500 in Mountain West Conference action.
The Weber State Wildcats hope to continue their winning ways and maintain a perfect record this season as they travel north to play the Montana State Bobcats.
