BYU Football DB Jakob Robinson Added To All-Star Game Roster

PROVO, Utah – Former BYU football star Jakob Robinson is a late addition to one of the top college football all-star games.
Jakob Robinson was one of six late additions to the 2025 East-West Shrine Bowl this week.

Robinson joins his former BYU teammate Tyler Batty at the East-West Shrine Bowl. Both players will be on the west roster.
Robinson will wear uniform number 34, while Batty will wear the number 92 that he wore at BYU.
The 5-foot-11, 170-pound Robinson finished his BYU career as one of the best cornerbacks in BYU’s history. During his four years at BYU, Robinson finished with 11 interceptions, one of which was a pick-six.
Robinson finished with 182 tackles and 21 pass deflections for the Cougars. He was a key player in BYU’s defense, which became the No. 1 defensive unit in the Big 12 in 2024.

In his final game as a BYU Cougar, Robinson had three tackles in a victory over Colorado in the 2024 Alamo Bowl.
Robinson primarily played the nickel spot in BYU’s defense.

The 2025 East-West Shrine Bowl will be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Thursday, January 30, at 6 p.m. (MST)/7 p.m. (CST).
