About The East-West Shrine Bowl
For the last 100 years, the East-West Shrine Bowl has held an all-star college football game to showcase the top players in the nation to both NFL scouts and the country.
The first ever game was held on December 26, 1925, at San Francisco’s Ewing Field in front of an audience of 25,000 fans. The annual event raises money for Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Typically separated by schools on each side of the Mississippi River, the West leads the all-time series 54-40-5. This year’s game will take place on Tuesday, January 27, at Ford Center in Frisco, Texas.
