Yesterday, the Utah Hockey Club began collecting data from fans on which name they preferred between Utah Hockey Club, Utah Mammoth, and Utah Wasatch.
Based on the reactions of fans on social media and those who voted at Delta Center, Mammoth was the clear favorite by a wide margin and Wasatch was a dud.
Did a quick photoshop on a live action photo of Mr. Versatility himself using the images circulating.

According to the Utah Hockey Club’s social media account, voting will continue over the next three games to determine which of the new three options is the favorite.
“Hey Utah hockey fans! We listened to your feedback and dug into all the Qualtrics data from last night’s survey. For the team name, it’s clear that Outlaws should be in the mix instead of Wasatch, so we’re swapping it out,” Utah’s Twitter account stated.
“Surveys will continue at the arena Friday, Sunday and Tuesday for you to vote for the options Utah Mammoth, Utah Hockey Club, and Utah Outlaws. Excited to see the votes roll in!”
