SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Hockey Club had its final home game of the season spoiled by the Nashville Predators in a shootout on Thursday.

The Hockey Club struck first in the second period off the stick of Nick Bjugstad. Josh Doan doubled Utah’s lead shortly after. The Predators responded with three unanswered and led by one in the third period. Dylan Guenther eventually equalized to set up overtime. After a scoreless OT and five empty shootout attempts, Nashville’s Filip Forsberg ended the drought to steal the win.

Utah will now close out its season with three straight road games in Dallas, Nashville, and St. Louis.
