Winger Kyle Connor’s 60 points (26 goals, 34 assists) are seventh in the NHL and leads a potent Jets attack. Alongside Connor, Mark Scheifele (27 goals, 27 assists), Gabriel Vilardi (20 goals, 22 assists), John Morrisey (5 goals, 37 assists), and Nikolaj Ehlers have topped the 40-point mark.
Winnipeg is third in the league, averaging 3.47 goals per game. At the same time, Jet goaltenders are third in the NHL, allowing 2.45 goals with a league-leading .922 save percentage.
Captain Clayton Keller (17 goals, 34 assists) enters on a three-game goal-scoring streak. Barrett Hayton has found the back of the net in two straight, including two goals last night in a win over Minnesota.

It'll be interesting to see how these two teams respond tonight.
Utah is obviously hot with 3 straight wins and defeated Winnipeg on Monday night.
Winnipeg on the other hand is seeking revenge after what their head coach called an "embarrassing loss" at Delta Center.

Great play by DeSimone to deny a clear shot with his stick on a quick rush by the Jets.
Maybe overlooked on that same play was Josh Doan's hustle to get back and cut off a would-be 2 on 1.
Doan is rarely outhustled.

Lots of tempo and urgency through the first half of this initial period between Utah and Winnipeg.
Jets are playing with a lot more physicality tonight than they did on Monday. Forecheck has been suffocating but Utah has responded well so far.
Game remains tied 0-0.

Jets put one off the pipe.
Ingram was beaten clean, but the iron said no.
Close call. Jets are banging on the door right now.

Jets score.
Absolutely cannot give the best PP unit in the league opportunities, especially on a holding call.

Decent first period but the Jets are clearly hungry for revenge and the holding penalty gifted the best PP unit (31.9%) in the NHL a golden opportunity.
Utah will need to be a bit more composed through the remaining 40 minutes.
Utah will begin the 3rd with a 1:46 PP. https://t.co/NSYKGKP2s7

The power play remains hot.

Great work from the PP unit here to get the Jets to bite and then feed Kesselring who stepped up high and ripped one on net.
Beautiful deflection from Schmaltz, another assist for Keller, and PP goals in 5 of the last 6 games for Utah.pic.twitter.com/cuNNIImaE6

Just an absolutely unfortunate and awkward bounce that sent Ingram behind the net to retrieve, but the puck ended up in front of the open net and Winnipeg cashed in. https://t.co/mWdYOPoDt4

Schmaltz has been quietly playing really good hockey as of late. https://t.co/jryZAIdreA

Utah considered challenging for goaltender interference but ultimately elected not to.
I understand the hesitation, but I think a challenge would've been worth the risk there. Based on recent calls, there was a good chance that goal may have been overturned. https://t.co/mQeaLrazPM

Massive save from Connor Ingram on a one-timer from Scheifele in close. Ingram had to move incredibly fast to get across the crease and deny that one.
He then gave Scheifele a little tap with his stick after Scheifele tried to dig his stick underneath Ingram.

Jets win 5-2.
