SALT LAKE CITY – As the 2025-26 NHL season inches closer, EA Sports revealed their first official trailer of NHL 26 on Wednesday, and the Utah Mammoth received a lot of screen time as fans got their first look at the new branding in the game.

Featured in the new My Career, the Mammoth were highlighted in the game mode as a player with the last name of “Smith” was shown being selected by Utah in the draft, taking the ice at Delta Center and wearing the fresh Utah Mammoth sweater.

Notably, as compared to NHL 25, NHL 26 appears to feature a more accurate setting for the Utah Mammoth at Delta Center.
Understandably, game developers had to scramble last season in order to get Utah into the game after the relocation from Arizona.
Due to the shortened amount of time, players who selected Utah as the home team were met with a generic rink and arena rather than Delta Center.
However, as illustrated in the new NHL 26 video, Delta Center’s unique setup and rowdy environment can clearly be seen in the trailer.
