Despite playing a team-high 22 minutes against the New York Rangers on Thursday night, Sergachev did not finish the game and was absent during Utah’s six-on-five during the final few minutes.
“He’s banged up a little bit,” Tourigny said. “Should be day to day.”
While Sergachev was present for part of Utah’s morning skate on Saturday, he ultimately departed early and will not play against the St. Louis Blues.
With Sergachev out, Nick DeSimone will return to the lineup and play alongside Juuso Valimaki while John Marino moves up to the top pairing with Olli Maatta.
With Sergachev out tonight, Marino will play with Maatta and DeSimone will be paired with Valimaki.
Also, O’Brien will replace Carcone in the lineup.
