Utah State’s Ike Larsen Hauls In Second Interception Against Colorado State

LOGAN – Utah State safety Ike Larsen snagged a second interception during the first half of the Aggies’ home game against the Colorado State Rams.
The Aggies hosted the Rams at Maverik Stadium in Logan, Utah on Saturday, October 7.
With 5:12 to go in the second quarter, Rams quarterback Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi tossed up a prayer on 3rd & 18 from the Colorado State 11-yard line. Larsen played the ball like a receiver and came down with the interception. It was his second pick of the first half.
The turnover ended a three-play drive by the Rams.

Larsen’s second pick ended up resulting in a game-tying touchdown on the Aggies’ subsequent possession.

The safety’s first interception of the game came with 11:38 remaining in the first half when Fowler-Nicolosi unloaded a deep pass into the end zone on a 1st & 10 from the USU 40-yard line.

The sophomore entered the game with 36 total tackles, 18 solo tackles, one forced fumble, one interception, and one touchdown in five games this season.
